Aisha you hit the nail on the head with the two tools you believe would be obsolete. I believe the key aspect is this tool promotes creativity without being self serving. There is a level of accountability when students can control content delivery.

I didn't include the overhead projector because when I thought of our choice of interactive whiteboards, I went more of the Mimio route! However, the Smartboards and Mimios are both interactive whiteboards, but the Mimios didn't replace our overhead projectors, our Elmos did!! Some people, like my school of teachers, watched the Mimio replace the Smartboard. Our Smartboards now sit in our computer labs, unused, while teacher utilize the Mimio Interactive. Do you think a smaller tool like the Mimio that turns a regular whiteboard, into an interactive one, will replace Smartboards?
